Wanna know why Jesse and Al are snuggling up to Obama? EARMARKS! Every politician uses them! Don't be foolish enough to think that Obama is some morally superior person who will obey the will of the people. Don't get me wrong, he gives great lip service, but his actions speak far louder than his politio-pop culture popularity.

Can't any of McCain's spokespeople or the man himself speak intelligently? I hope they keep shooting themselves in the foot this way.

That's why the neocons love him so. He is dumber than Bush or Reagan but has that sterling military record of spending years as a prisoner of war. What more could they wish for?

The issue isn't the flubbing. The issue is the difficulty McCain's advocate had in trying to come up with a real difference between Bush and McCain on the economy. I'd have flubbed it as well if I was charged with such a task.
